Dr. Josiah Rich Elected to National Academy of Medicine

Brown Medicine’s Division of Infectious Diseases Dr. Josiah “Jody” Rich was elected to the 2018 class of the National Academy of Medicine in honor of his work fighting the opioid epidemic and addressing health issues among prisoners.

This is one of the highest honors in the fields of health and medicine. He is among 75 U.S. members and 10 international members to serve in this capacity.

Brown Medicine is a non-profit, academic, multi-specialty medical group with practices in Providence, RI and its surrounding communities.
