Nurse Care Manager – Internal Medicine of East Providence

Karen is a Registered Nurse with her Bachelors in Science from Suffolk University and her Associates in nursing from Quincy College. Karen is also a Certified Diabetes Outpatient Educator.

Karen is a caring individual with a passion for working with patients and managing care transitions. Karen also enjoys spending time with her family, supporting and watching their favorite sports teams: Celtics, Bruins, Red Sox, and the Dallas Cowboys.

Meet your Nurse Care Manager! Karen is available to all patients and families to help you with any of the below services, and more:

• Provide follow-up on any recent visit to the hospital
• Provide education and learning materials about your health and offer knowledge to help you manage your health
• Help you manage your medications
• Work with you to develop a care plan for you in alignment with your primary care physician.
• Teach group education and provide community resources for you

Your Nurse Care Manager will work directly with you to help you achieve your health goals and these services are of no cost to Brown Medicine patients!
