Brown Medicine’s Division of Endocrinology specializes in the treatment of diabetes, osteoporosis, thyroid disorders, pituitary disorders, adrenal disorders and calcium disorders, among other conditions related to hormones and metabolism.
Located at our Patient Center in East Providence, RI our team of endocrinologists, nurses and researchers provide care to persons with diabetes and other endocrine disorders while conducting research to enhance our understanding of these conditions.
The goals of the division of Endocrinology are:
- To provide the best possible care for all patients with diabetes and other endocrine diseases.
- To take a leading role in introducing new approaches to disease prevention and management.
- To involve patients in their effective disease management through educational programs.
- To pursue clinical and basic research on diabetes and other endocrine diseases that will increase our understanding of causal mechanisms and define new approaches to treatment.
